My teeth, in places are kind of tightish together, so pushing the flosser in took a bit of experimenting - i find if i line the flosser to the gap and gently bite the flosser goes in that way. It does mean though that the floss bends to varying degrees of looseness, at its most extreme rendering it pretty much useless even though technically its still whole. I find, on average I use 4 if I want to do all my teeth, though this can be more if the floss bends. They can still be used even at their most loose, but i feel it feels a bit weaker when flossing. It took a long time to figure out how to get the floss in between my wisdom teeth (slightly odd angle I guess) but that's probably because I hadn't done it before. Negatives: - The floss strips are shaped flat and thin, approximately a few mm across. This is prone to shredding in tight teeth. I have used the DenTek Complete Clean Floss Picks and these are much better for this.
