I really suggest to Amazon consumers to consider again if you have any plan to purchase chinawares from Amazon. When I received the item, I found 2 plates were broken, so I applied replacement item. Then, I could find 5 broken plates in the box of the replacement item. The problem is simple - Amazon do not put any fillings. Of course they covered the original box with air cushions and put papers in the empty space between the original box and outer package. However, they do nothing for inside of the original box. I think it is the reason of all the broken plates. Coming back to this dining set - good shape and quality. Especially, I like the unique shape of tea cup, and I am totally satisfied with the quality of metallic painting on the edge of chinawares.
