At the heart of the Makita 18V LXT System is the efficient Rapid Optimum Charger. The Rapid Optimum Charger offers key advantages for Makita 18V Lithium-Ion cordless tool users. The exclusive built-in fan cools the battery (sold separately) by forcing air through the battery's air vents during the charging process for faster charging. The charger communicates with the battery's built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. The result is category-leading battery charge times, which means the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger. (Note: also charges 14.4 V Lithium-Ion batteries) ## Features - Makita rapid optimum charger communicates with the batteryâ€s built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature - Built-in fan circulates air through the battery during the charging process to cool the battery for faster charge time - Optimizes battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature - Charges an 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 3.0Ah battery in only 30 minutes - Charges an 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 4.0Ah battery in only 40 minutes ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007VM44HU | | Amperage | 3.3 Amps | | Battery Charge Time | 25 minutes | | Best Sellers Rank | 282,532 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 767 in Cordless Tool Chargers | | Box Contents | Battery-Charger | | Brand Name | Makita | | Colour | turqouise | | Compatible Devices | Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries | | Connector Types | Makita LXT Battery Connector | | Current Rating | 3.3 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (7,809) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00088381373562 | | Input Voltage | 18 Volts | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 15.6D x 19W x 8.4H centimetres | | Item Highlight | Rapid Optimum Charger, 18V Lithium-Ion, Built-in Fan Cooling, Also Charges 14.4V | | Item Weight | 1.86 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Makita | | Manufacturer Part Number | DC18RC | | Model Number | DC18RC | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Ports | 1 | | Output Voltage | 18 Volts (DC) | | Specification Met | Makita | | UPC | 088381373562 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Makita - **Colour:** turqouise - **Item weight:** 1.86 Pounds - **Output voltage:** 18 Volts (DC) - **Product dimensions:** 15.6D x 19W x 8.4H centimetres ## Images ![Makita DC18RC Charger 18 Volt 3.3 Ah (German Import), Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617+MWMSRaL.jpg) ![Makita DC18RC Charger 18 Volt 3.3 Ah (German Import), Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41XvJk0hM+L.jpg) ![Makita DC18RC Charger 18 Volt 3.3 Ah (German Import), Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41vtWDQAExL.jpg) ![Makita DC18RC Charger 18 Volt 3.3 Ah (German Import), Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ZcYnpJzpL.jpg) ![Makita DC18RC Charger 18 Volt 3.3 Ah (German Import), Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41fxSegDjVL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - MAKITA DC18RC Charger 7.2-18V Output 120V Input NEW - Makita BL1850B-2 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah Battery, 2/pk, Black - Makita BL1820B-2 18V Compact Lithium-Ion 2.0Ah Battery Twin Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/48342442-makita-dc18rc-charger-18-volt-3-3-ah-german-import](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/48342442-makita-dc18rc-charger-18-volt-3-3-ah-german-import) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
