Review: 100% does the job - I bought the remote as a replacement for my original remote for my Tivo box. To be honest, although it was described as 100% genuine, for the price I was a bit doubtful and expected a lighweight, cheap version. How wrong could I be? It is exactly the same as my original remote i.e. size, weight, layout of buttons and has Virgin logo so I am satisfied that it is a genuine Virgin product. It worked straight away and I would definitely recommend it as a replacement. One very satisfied customer! A quick update.....I hadn't realised that the mute and volume functions didn't work as I always used a separate tv remote for this, however I discovered this as I was scrolling through some past reviews and some of them included instructions on how to get the functions working. Followed the instructions and hey presto, mute and volume functions now work and very easy to do.

**Q: Are these controls compatible with a Tivo V6?**
A: I  believe so, we just this week got a v6 box and the engineer said we could use that or our new one provided, it certainly seems to work with our box, so that's good.

**Q: How to programme control**
A: Press clear and tv buttons  green light will flash theee times. Enter code 0999. Keep pressing channel up button till tv turns off. Then press ok. Job is then done

**Q: Is it Bluetooth?**
A: No it not bluetooth

**Q: my batteries for my vigin media remote need replaceing. what shall i buy?**
A: My suggestion: buy Rayovac

The remote was really good, exactly what I wanted. the only issue that I had was that on the advert it said that there would be 2 batteries included but there wasn't when it arrived. The 2 batteries were very prominent in the advert and I didn't click on the details where it did say there were no batteries included. so the advert was a bit confusing and not very clear. apart from that the remote worked perfectly and I am very happy with it.
