Very well made and perfect for kids. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Timeless Thomas the tank engine *by G***O on 1 December 2025* Everbody of all ages likes Thomas and friends. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Back when Thomas was good *by J***E on 20 January 2012* I bought this DVD for my brother, so he would have something different to watch on his portable DVD player rather than just Wallace and Gromit over and over again! I have watched some of it myself. If anything, one has to compare it to the really recent Thomas. These Thomas stories are realistic, and very good. Today's episodes are not very well written. Any fan of Thomas on YouTube will tell you that. Half of the episodes are adapted from stories by the Rev W. Awdry, and the others are written by producers Allcroft and Mitten. Many criticised the decision to do this initially, especially as there were plenty of other stories by the Rev and his son that could have been adapted instead. But the producer written shows are actually really well written, and, to the amateur viewer, it would be hard to tell the difference. Overall, if you're after classic examples of what Thomas was like when it was actually worth watching, this DVD is a must have.
