Also I am not sure if it comes with 2 pin European plug or 3 pin UK plug best to ask seller. I returned this after owning it for just about 2 weeks as the base would not switch on. I than ordered the TX 458 from Amazon it comes with 2 pin European plug. (now £255 Amazon£219 box.co.uk, Ferrari 458 wheel is just as good). I race Asseto Corsa Ferrari 458gt2 Spa everyday with pals who owns Fanatec v2 base and v3 pedals and I can be as fast or faster with the thrustmaster TX. **Q: Does it come with an earthed plug?** A: Mine didn't it has a euro plug on it,2 pin. I had the logitech 920 which in my opinion had a flaw as I had 2 and it kept pausing when turning so definitely don't buy. I think it's double insulated as I cant see any exposed metal. It has four pins on the connection into the Base so I'd say that if yours was to come with the euro plug I'd say after a year cut it off and wire a 3 pin too it if you're that concerned. The adaptor plug does look a little dangerous as I think a child could put there finger down the hole of the plug. If you've got rcds in your house you should be OK. I'd say buy as I am still impressed when I play with it and don't look at buying forza or project cars have a look at assetto corsa as I think thats the best simulator racer on the market but that's just my opinion. Pcars isn't bad as I played it for a long time but assetto feels more like driving. Hope that helped. **Q: Can you get a manual gear shifterbadd on for this** A: At this moment we have a single gear shifter model in production, the TH8A shifter. And this can be used with the TX Racing Wheel, on both the PC and Xbox console. A warning to the buyer should be considered especially when the product was sold to UK. ### ⭐ Not UK compatible *by C***L on 27 May 2020* This is a rare piece of kit at moment as out of stock everywhere, but I was able to place an order with Amazon for delivery when in stock - this service I give 5 stars as within a couple of weeks it was delivered. Imagine my surprise (and my 14 year olds disappointment) when we discovered that being in the UK, we couldn’t use it?! Despite the order being fulfilled by Amazon UK, it came with a European 2 pin plug. We tried a shaver adapter, but nothing happened. A few YouTube videos and Google research later, it transpired that units sold in the UK should come with a UK adapter. Thankfully I was able to order a UK adapter direct from Thrustmaster, and we now have a working steering wheel and a happy 14 year old.
