The recipes are a glorious bonus. Each recipe says which type of BBQ or Smoker it's best for, so not all will work if you only have one type of grill. That said, now that we have the skills from this book to get the most out of ours, we will be tweaking the recipes for other grills, because they look so good.

We just bought an upright smoker, so needed a bit of help with the actual set up and maintenance of very long smokes, this book is perfect for that basic information, and for finessing your smoke. The recipes are a glorious bonus. Each recipe says which type of BBQ or Smoker it's best for, so not all will work if you only have one type of grill. That said, now that we have the skills from this book to get the most out of ours, we will be tweaking the recipes for other grills, because they look so good.
