Right?** A: No it is not sugar soap. It is a potassium soap made from vegetable oils, free of phosphates **Q: Would this product be safe on unvarnished wooden kitchen chairs?** A: Have only used it on polished solid mahogany Schreiber kitchen units. It worked a treat. It's very gentle nothing like a chemical cleaner which I would never have used.
