Walls are are real problem and the maximum signal distance I can get is 8 metres with the signal passing through one plasterboard wall. It is less with a brick wall. I had to buy 4 discs to get coverage of my bungalow. Once they are working they are excellent. No drop-outs and the speed loss is minimal. A vast improvement on the old dLAN system which uses the ring main. My upload speed with that was so slow that my Hive outdoor camera would not work. Now with the BT whole home it is excellent. Work well, once set up, which is easy using the app. The only issue is that you can only attach, I think, four of them within the app, which is a nuisance.
