The kit comes with inserts of varying lengths to suit the thread length of the spark plug fitted although I did check the full specification of the spark plug before I ordered so I knew I was getting the right kit. The tap that comes with the set is very sturdy and can obviously be used more than once so it’s in my tool box for future use. It took around 15 minutes, afterwards I flushed the cylinder head out with petrol to be sure there were no pieces of alloy still there.
