A: Yes, if you mean the valve that blocks the water in the tank.

**Q: Will this fit Krups KP1002?**
A: It will however, it'll overlap slightly

**Q: Will this fit piccolo kp100640/7z0?**
A: The product description mentions KP100610/7z0 but not the one you gave.  I would suggest you check your model number again or other wise you could order it and try it out and if it does not fit then return it.
