I’m looking for new anger bands and am going through elastic bands like they are smarties** A: Yes, the hand band does fit around the wrist. However, it is a very tight fit; for me too tight for comfort. I have only ever used them on my hand so I cannot comment on their durability if worn on the wrist. **Q: Hi. would these be good for regaining mobility/flexibility in the finger joints, please? (to help straighten up crooked fingers) thanks** A: I would say these are really for strengthening the muscles of the fingers and hand rather than for mobility as they are actually a resistance band. **Q: Any info on the dimensions (length and thickness) of each band?** A: Hi there The bands are all the same size, 18cm circumference (9cm folded) by 2 cm wide. There is a different colour for each tension. I used them to strengthen my grip after badly breaking my wrist. I found them excellent and effective. Hopethat helps. **Q: Instructions anyone?** A: From the original instructions emailed by the seller: Simply grab a band that offers what feels like an appropriate resistance and place the band around the top/middle of all of the fingers and thumb on one hand. Keeping your arm extended with your elbow straight, simply stretch the band by expanding and extending your fingers and thumb. Hold the stretched position for 3 seconds before slowly returning to the start position. That's one rep! Hint 1: pick a resistance level that you can do more than 10 reps on – doing multiple reps at a lower resistance is more beneficial than trying to force out a few strained reps at a higher resistance. They feel like they will last a long time and come with a useful little bag to keep them together in. I think they could do with being a little bit smaller, that way they would keep your hands under tension to a more pinched point and give them an even fuller rep. But if you have bigger hands then maybe this won't be an issue. These are comfortable and good-looking bands, which are well-graded in difficulty, from an easy warm-up band (yellow), through three intermediate stages, to a heavy, serious workout (black). The carry pouch is a nice touch.
