Even though I’d describe our dog as a medium size, we found the medium and large sizes too small, so we use the XL size, which is perfect. I’d suggest buying the next size up for your dog if you’re uncertain. One of the most useful features is that you can remove the pad with care to exercise your dog outside, and it will still be usable (if clean) when you get back inside your home. They do slightly restrict motion and if your dog really doesn’t like wearing the diaper he or she can quite easily take it off. Great for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ OK but... *by T***S on 14 March 2020* First problem is my doberman's waist and bottom is to big for the L/XL but way to petit for the XXL so she can either wear them loose or sit down and have a side pop open. We have settled on the XXL as she is in heat and only wears them when she is in the house. Next entertaining issue for my long suffering much loved fur baby was when she discovered; if you nip down stairs and do a wee in middle of the night and then sit down on mummy's bed the wee shoots out of either side of the leg - as a very clean dog neither of us were very unimpressed by this! So, last night she removed herself from her pouch pampers (as someone left the bedroom door open and opportunity arose) did a wee in the middle of the night on the kitchen floor, then came back to bed and slept with her bottom on her nappy! So, in summary - a great product for your dog when she is in heat so she can continue to have access to the house like normal.
