The effect is really lovely, the colours are beautiful and it is really pleasant to gently run your hands across it and see it move. The lamp is steady as the base is heavy enough without it being too heavy. It is the perfect level of brightness. It's very portable as it's powered by batteries. The only thing that could make it better would be if it was possible to set it for an hour for example as my daughter often falls asleep before turning it off.

Wonderful - highly recommended. I bought this lamp for my 13year old who was having trouble sleeping as she was restless and found it difficult to calm down. Wow is all I've got to say! The lamp is sturdy, a perfect size for a bedside lamp, uses batteries and they are lasting a while so far. The effect is really lovely, the colours are beautiful and it is really pleasant to gently run your hands across it and see it move. The lamp is steady as the base is heavy enough without it being too heavy. It is the perfect level of brightness. It's very portable as it's powered by batteries. The only thing that could make it better would be if it was possible to set it for an hour for example as my daughter often falls asleep before turning it off.
