From the manufacturer SIAMP 99B Bottom Entry Inlet Float Valve 1/2 inch 15mm The bottom entry inlet valve can be installed into ceramic or plastic cisterns, as a replacement for a pre-installed products from Vitra, Twyford, Lecico, Roca and many more. Compact design with hydraulic closure, anti-backflow function. Operating pressure from 0.5 to 10 bar. SIAMP Optima 49 Button, Chrome/Matt Chrome Supplied with an optional collar to raise the button from the lid. When fitted without collar the button is compatible with lid hole diameters from 39mm to 42mm, when fitted with the collar the button is compatible with lid hole diameters from 16mm to 50mm.

**Q: What size is the thread at the bottom where the water comes in please, ive measured mine and its about 20mm**
A: 1/2 thread

**Q: does this replace the inlet valves with the ballon the end?  so no need for the ball float**
A: There is no need for a ball float. The float is the big plastic piece and its position can be adjusted. This inlet valve would normally replace an inlet valve with ball float, given that the basin dimensions can accommodate it.

**Q: Is the inlet 1/2"bsp (21mm) or is it 3/8" bsp (16.67mm)?**
A: It says on the inlet float valve it`s 1/2in.. 15mm plastic.

**Q: What’s the outside diameter of the bottom screw thread part?**
A: I`d say a Quarter of an inch. You  will easy see when you take the old one off.
