They do work but are quite tight when fitting into the slot but it does slide and works OK. I think they also said that 13/6mm would have been OK as well. WE do not use our stapler that often, we have stapled material to a wooden headboard and stapled bunting to wooden beams at a wedding last year, all OK, hope this helps. **Q: you use the stapcanles with a hilka hammer tacker** A: Good morning, Since I do not have access to the specifications for your tool, I cannot confirm whether or not these staples will be compatible. The 13 in the title refers to the staple series, and not the size of the staple, whilst the 6mm refers to the leg length.
