Review: 东北大米 - Top Quality Rice (With Ricecooker) - To summarise: if you have not tried any "东北大米” rice (translated to Rice From Northeast China, RFNC), I say try it and you won't be disappointed. Born and raised in China, I have been living in the UK for more than 10 years, having the chance to try a lot of different rice "breeds", I think the RFNC is still among the best. The RFNC type has large and short body, compared to the popular Jasmine rice, less fragrant but better texture in my opinion. From my knowledge, rice can be harvested once, twice or even three times every year. It will depend on the region where the rice is produced, the colder the climate is, the less it will be harvested. The RFNC breed is normally produced in cold climate, so it takes longer to be harvested. I think this is one of the reasons why it has one of the best taste and texture. Although this product is labelled as sushi rice, it can also be used for normal way of cooking rice, i.e. with rice cooker. Finally it is time to cook some rice, with rice cooker of course. :)

A: I don't know some husks are still on the rice, 5/6 the whole bag.
Guess it could mean milled you do need to wash the rice 2/3 times then soak for 35 minutes. For best sticky rice..
