I was expecting a large package, but they came in a very small box and wondered if I'd ordered the wrong item. In actual fact they were just thinner than our originals and more flexible. The lights are brighter and the colours more vibrant. The plug which also contains the transformer and wireless transmitter/receiver for the control is rather long and will not fit into a standard outdoor weatherproof wall socket. I bought a 4 gang outdoor waterproof box to hold it, and this solution works well, particularly if you have more than one set of lights. I love the small remote which allows you to change the light sequence from indoors. Both were working fine, but only one of the remote controls was working. I replaced the battery, with no luck.I returned the one which doesn’t work, and ordered a new one. It was delivered today. Again, the light is working, but not the remot control!!! I replaced the battery again, still not working.I am not keen of having a remote control to switch the light on/off, as my whole pond light system is on a timer.. but I need to select the mood, and dim the light to match the others.
