Only complaint is that it turns very slowly, even when it comes to dispensing so the food is released slowly over the hour it is set to, as opposed to all at once. This means my greedy mollies manage to get most of it before the others. So I tend to make sure that each compartment contains some sinking and some floating foods to try and disperse them a little. And follow the advice if your using flakes because they will inevitably stick. I have my feeder a good distance from the tank and I leave the lid open to prevent humidity. I also mix the flakes with other bigger foods to help them drop. Super easy to clean as the whole tray comes out. Would definitely recommend. I give it 4 stars though, because you do need to have a hole in the hood of your tank to feed with this machine. I also found, that the best way to avoid condensation, effecting the food, was to set the machine on its own box, on the hood of our tank above the hole. In doing that we found the food was dry and had no issues. But if you forget to do this, or put it straight on the hood, the food will get damp and probably clump and not move. The hole is in the front segment of the wheel and the food drops through as the compartment sliwlyturns over the hole. Tip: leave the lid open so that condensation does not clog up the food. I secured it with tape and set it running for a few days before we went away to test it. Your tank lid needs a hole or a gap for the pellets to drop through. The machine is shaped like a sliced orange with segments. Instructions were clear and it was easy to set up after reading the leaflet. It essentially runs on a clock mechanism and all other moving parts are physical/mechanical, so there's very little to go wrong as long as you're using suitable food and guard against condensation. I did leave the lid open to avoid any risk of condensation, which I think helped. My tank is 250L with around 50 small fishes and the food compartments are amply sized to accommodate their usual food and feeding schedule, except for the plec pellets which I swapped for algae wafers broken in half.
