I have very sensitive skin prone to reactions and never had a problem using this. I'm on my 5th bottle.... **Q: I’ve put this tan in for 1hr if I wash it off will I have a light tan or do I have to wait 8hrs for it to develop ?** A: You will have a slight tan after washing it off but I find it takes a little more time to develop fully - not sure if it is 8 hours though. I usually put it on in the evening and wash it off before bed and then it is perfect in the morning.
