Secures handle tightly - did not experience any movement or slippage. Tried out angles with dry brush on wall first. Really useful tool, allowing you to paint corners in high places without the need for ladders. I bought this product as I was decorating a high celing on a staircase. It worked really well and allowed me to paint edges and corners which couldn't be painted with a roller. The only negative point was that it didn't hold all brushes tightly enough. It works best on wider wooden handle brushes.
