Review: Some thing very important - Dear seller: the product was good and the price reasonable but I was concerned that this filter didn't fit on the jug with a valve !!!! and no one mentioned this problem that's why I was using my old jug which does not have a valve !!!!! and I am still looking for a Breta filter suitable for the jug valve, which I don't find at all !!!!! I'm not complaining about your product but about the information you didn't mention ( this filter you can use it to the jug without a valve !!!! thanks

**Q: I've a brita maxtra water tank (not maxtra +) can someone please confirm these are not maxtra + cartridges? they don't work in a maxtra tank. grrr**
A: We use ours in a Maxtra + water filter.

**Q: Will these filters fit a maxtra+**
A: They do not work. I'm left with 6 which are useless to me. Complained but no reply.

**Q: will these fit the amazon basic jug**
A: if Amazon say it takes Brita filters then yes, they will fit HOWEVER I wasn't impressed with them as they are much slower to filter than the actual Brita ones and I found that if I used all the water in my Brita kettle, some black filter material came out of the filter too.  I will be buying the actual filters in future.

**Q: Are they a replacement for the Matrix+ cartridges please?**
A: Hi. They fitted my old Brita jug but recently had to replace it and they no longer fit. There is an additional part in the bottom  (where the water filters through) of the Brita cartridge which isn't in these compatible cartridges and, I think, that may be the reason they don't work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality cartridges for a good price

Arrived on time, packed well: simple separate white plastic packages in one box, just without instructions; but as I've used these types of cartridges so many times now, I didn't need those. Looked a lot like the usual Brita Maxtra filter cartridges, definitely the right size, I've now inserted one in the filter jug and will see how long this cartridge will last me: normally the usual Brita Maxtra works perfectly for 2-2.5 weeks, and perhaps with medium level quality for 3 weeks, then I change it to a new one, so that my tea would taste well. If this one works that well, it would great.
