What I did was rest the iron face down on the item that needed ironing and then moved it back and forward. This had the dual effect of taking the weight of the iron and, amazingly, flattening out the creases! Wow! Overall this is a great iron which puts out plenty of steam. Only slight criticisms are that the handle has a surface which feels like it is wet, even though it isn’t. Also, the iron takes ages to cool down after unplugging.
