I don't think milk is an appropriate description. It works for my Afro, making it easy to comb. And it holds my hair well. The fragrance is refreshing, and it does not leave my hair feeling or looking greasy. It begins to leave sediments after a couple of days or so, but this is not a problem if you wash your hair regularly, and it washes out easily. My only quibble is the bottle it comes in. The cream is too thick for it, making it quite frustrating to squeeze out, especially when it is finishing. It should be in a tub. I hope the makers pay attention to this.
