If the paper is still wet the ink will flow and bleed into wet areas. Once dry, pitt pen ink is waterproof and can be painted over without effecting the drawing. **Q: Do these smudge or bleed if used with promarkers?** A: Provided the original work is completely dry, the pens should not smudge or bleed. **Q: I make a lot of signs with timber. Would these be suitable to use over the top of acrylic or enamel paints on the wood. Thank you** A: These may not be permanent enough - we would recommend paint markers such as Posca or Liquitex. **Q: Trying to find out if these bleed through the paper. Thanks** A: Hi Sarah, I've found that they do bleed through to the other side of thin paper (not enough to effect the sheet below) with the thicker pens, but would be fine on a heavy cartridge paper, hope this has helped! ## Frequently Bought Together - Faber Castell FC167137 Wallet Pitt Pen Nibs Art Set, Assorted - SAKURA Pigma Micron Fineliner Pens - Archival Black Ink Pens - Pens for Writing, Drawing, or Journaling - Assorted Point Sizes - 6 Pack - Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen India Ink Pen - wallet of 8 - colour 199 black - XXS, S, F, M, B, C, 1.5, Fude Hard, (167158) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/47964233-faber-castell-wallet-pitt-pen-nibs-art-set-assorted](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/47964233-faber-castell-wallet-pitt-pen-nibs-art-set-assorted) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
