The back rest can be used by anyone who wants more support when relaxing in bed but it is particularly useful for someone who spends a lot of time in bed due to illness or injury. The frame of the back rest is made from sturdy, white, coated metal while the back rest section is formed from blue mesh type fabric. Also included is a padded headrest which attaches with hook and loop fastening and can therefore be removed if necessary. The back rest is very simple to set up. It is supplied folded flat and all you need to do is open out the frame by pulling the two sections away from one another. There is a metal section attached to the front part of the frame which slots into one of six cut out half circles on each side of the base frame section.
