What temperature is maintained and what happens after 6 hours?** A: I don't know the exact temperature, but suffice it to say it is the perfect rice cooker. After the rice is cooked it keeps it warm for when you need it. We don't know what happens after six hours, as we've never needed to have it on that long. Didn’t give it 5 stars because there is a design flaw that during cooking there was a little bit liquid spilled out from inner bowl to the outer case and trapped under the heating metal in the base. It was very difficult to clean, and dried bits will fall out when shaking the whole thing upside down.
