I am giving it a 4 star only because I'm not completely in love with it - although it does clean my teeth very well and freshens my breath better than regular toothpaste. Here's what you need to know: it is NOT like toothpaste and I am not quite use to the different way that it feels. The directions say to chew it until it forms a "paste" - but I suppose the word "paste" made me think it would be like regular toothpaste. It's not. Think of it more like mixing flour and water to make a paste. That's what it's like but it does foam as you brush. I just need to keep using it and appreciating the fact that it comes in a glass jar rather than a plastic tube. So much safer and healthier and I think my teeth may be a tad bit whiter.
