I just made my own with a 1/2" bolt welded into a short length of 1/2" steel pipe and cut the bolt head off. I used these winches as replacements on my car dolly. **Q: What size bolts are used to attach these?** A: I used 3/8 x 2.5 carriage bolts, but i have a 1.5 inch floor, and I wanted to double nut the bolts. **Q: What are the product dimensions? You pull the strap through the winch till it is done, then back up a little to give slack. Then you operate the winch until strap is tight.
