Review: Elegant windchime - Charming , stylish, windchime. Well made, a soft higher toned chime. It’s small, as advertised so very happy with the purchase. Review: Beautiful sound but in a minor key - The sound these chimes make is crystal clear and very tuneful but I want to mention that they are tuned to a minor key. If you know the song "The Rains of Castermere" then you will get a better idea of my meaning as these chimes hit almost all those notes. That is something I would have liked to know before I bought these chimes so I thought I might pass that tidbit on. Now, it's not unpleasant but I think I would have preferred something a bit more upbeat in my garden rather than the Theme to the Red Wedding! That said, it is a beautiful sound - almost ethereal - and I won't be returning the chimes. They are sturdy and well made so it looks like I'm going to be pottering around in my garden whilst humming in the minor key for a long time to come! ## Features - Encore Collection Chimes share an enchanting tuning. - Bubinga finish wood, five bronze aluminum tubes - Length: 17'' Overall chime length is measured from top of string to bottom of windcatcher - Woodstock Chimes - The World's Favourite Windchime ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00012NUMM | | Best Sellers Rank | 46,949 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 199 in Wind Chimes | | Brand | Woodstock Chimes | | Brand Name | Woodstock Chimes | | Colour | Bronze | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,820 Reviews | | Finish Type | Aluminum and Wood | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00028375063314 | | Included Components | 1 Set of Wind Chimes | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 43.2L x 43.2W x 43.2H centimetres | | Item Length | 18 Inches | | Item Type Name | Woodstock Chimes of Mars, Bronze- Encore Collection (DCB17) | | Item Weight | 0.06 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Woodstock Percussion Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | DCB17 | | Material | Aluminium | | Material Type | Aluminium | | Model Name | Woodstock Chimes of Mars, Bronze | | Model Number | DCB17 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Sound Profile | Pentatonic | | Special Features | Easy to Install | | Special feature | Easy to Install | | Style | Contemporary | | Style Name | Contemporary | | Theme | Solar System | | UPC | 028375063314 886827057485 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Woodstock Chimes - **Colour:** Bronze - **Material:** Aluminium - **Special feature:** Easy to Install - **Style:** Contemporary ## Images ![Woodstock DCB17 Encore Collection Bronze Chimes of Mars Windchime - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jU8rK3fQL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why does my chime have a square bottom wind chatcher and not the other type?** A: I’m not sure I understand but this particular brand do have the square at the bottom.
