It's a hands-on kit, which is pretty fun and satisfying to put together and see it work. It was easy to set up, as you have to download the Arduino IDE and plug in the Arduino, and I believe that the software is compatible with Windows/Mac. I have done some of the tutorials from the PDF provided, which are great, but these tutorials only involve some of the components, and I also feel that reading through the PDF is a bit boring personally. Another downside is that while the box is compact, it means that it is hard to store all the components once you are done. I think it would be a good opportunity to do further research into how to use/program them, as there are lots of online resources, as it's what I've done after trying some of the PDF tutorials.
