From the manufacturer PLASTIC KITS Tamiya has a reputation for detail and accuracy and this series is a perfect example of this. The Tamiya designers work from measurements and thousands of picture references of the full sizes vehicles, including every detail and facet, to produce the most detailed models in this scale in the world. As with all Tamiya items, instructions are clear and concise, in order to allow the modeller to build a detailed model with relative ease. TAMIYA 24218 Subaru Impreza WRC '99 1:24 Car Model Kit The 1997 World Rally Championships saw a relaxing in the rules pertaining to vehicle modification. Subaru was the first team to take advantage of the leeway, bringing out the Impreza WRC. That machine featured all aluminium horizontal four cylinder turbo engine paired with a vertically mounted gearbox. The layout placed the gearbox in a balanced position behind the front axle, heightening manerverability and ultimately contributing to a Manufactures Championship for that year. ABOUT THE 1/24 SCALE CARS This series provides both the car fan and modeller a huge range of exciting subject from the automotive world. The 1/24 scale range includes vehicles from the race track as well as many iconic road cars. Each cars' unique form and styling is replicated complete with engine, suspension and interior detail. This range is the perfect starting point for car fans to build their favourite cars from the past 40 years. Cars include the Morris Mini Cooper and Lotus Super Seven right through to the awesome current day Nissan GT-R and McLaren Mercedes SLR. As with all Tamiya items, instructions are clear and concise, which allows the modeller to build a 1/24th scale car with ease. Many of the components such as the bodywork are already finished in the base colours; making painting optional and therefore ideal for the first time modeller. Paint and the required modelling glue for these kits available separately.

Review: Loved it - Pretty cool little model, this is the first model i’ve ever built and i really enjoyed it, i still need to add all the decals however. The bottom half didn’t seem to fit properly so I’m not sure whether that’s an error on my half of the plastic but either way from afar you can’t spot it, the lights were also different to what was shown on the box but overall i really enjoyed this kit and it’s really worth the money in my opinion :)

A: No ethced parts just plastic. Most likely can find aftermarket ones for the kit.

A: No this is only a plastic model kit not a polycarbonate shell based remote control kit

Model comes pre coloured and with decals, but paintt & glue needs to be purchased seperate to make it up.  Regards

Pretty cool little model, this is the first model i’ve ever built and i really enjoyed it, i still need to add all the decals however.
