Since launching SnoozeShade Original in 2010, our award-winning range has helped hundreds of thousands of parents enjoy stress-free naps, safer sun exposure, and more freedom to get out and about without sacrificing their baby’s sleep. Nothing ruins your day like an overtired baby & parents call SnoozeShade 'a lifesaver' and 'a godsend' because it genuinely makes life easier. Cara is safety obsessed. Normal safety standards just won't do! Most baby products are safe enough for a 3 year old, SnoozeShade products are safe enough for a newborn. Parents need to get out of the house at naptime & enjoy holidays where everyone gets their sleep. Whether baby is in the pram, buggy or travel cot, SnoozeShade has you safely covered. SnoozeShade Original Original Deluxe SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe SnoozeShade Plus Extra SnoozeShade Twin Extra SnoozeShade Travel Cot SnoozeShade for Cots What is SnoozeShade, and how does it help my baby sleep? SnoozeShade is the UK’s best-selling sun and sleep shade for over 15 years. It creates a calm, dark space that blocks distractions and up to 99% of UV (UPF50+), helping babies and toddlers fall asleep faster and sleep longer at home or on the go. Can I use SnoozeShade all year round? Yes. Use it in summer for sun protection and insects, in winter to block wind and chill, and indoors year-round to reduce light and stimulation for better sleep. How do I clean and care for my SnoozeShade? All SnoozeShades are machine washable at 30°C and can be tumble dried on low. Close zips and secure Velcro straps before washing to keep the fabric in great condition. Is SnoozeShade safe for newborns? Yes. SnoozeShade meets the same safety standards as a toy for a newborn, meaning babies can touch, kick, and mouth it safely. It’s also approved by INPAA for the highest levels of infant safety. Will SnoozeShade fit my pram or pushchair? SnoozeShade Original is designed to fit prams and carrycots. If you have a pushchair or stroller, you will need SnoozeShade Plus Extra or SnoozeShade Plus Deluxe. Flexible short straps make fitting easy, with no fiddly clips or complicated setup. ## Features - The pram sunshade that covers the whole opening: Not a parasol shading one direction. Blocks 97%+ UV and up to 94% of visible light, so your baby stays shaded and settles for a nap anywhere. - Naps that actually happen, wherever you are: Drop it down and the pram goes dark enough for sleep, so an overtired baby settles instead of fighting it and losing you the whole afternoon. - Stop chasing the sun round the pram: No shuffling the hood every corner you turn, or waking your baby to check the sun hasn't crept onto their face. Tested by ARPANSA to shade standard AS 4174. - Put the muslin away for good: You need a shade designed for the purpose. Our EziBreez mesh is air-permeable, so air moves freely through it. Better than breathable, and it stays where you put it. - On in seconds, stays put all day: Stretchy straps fit prams and carrycots from any brand, no clips or fiddling. Sneak-a-peek zip runs top to bottom so you can check on them without waking them. - Green trim: For a baby lying flat in a carrycot, pram body or bassinet. If yours travels in a stroller or pushchair seat, choose SnoozeShade Plus Extra or Plus Deluxe instead. - Why UVE beats UPF on a pram shade: UPF is the clothing test, measured flat against skin. UVE is the shade test, measured with sun arriving from the sides and bouncing off pavement and water. - You need shade more often than you think: The World Health Organization advises shade whenever the UV index is 3 or above, which in the UK runs mid-March to mid-October. UV passes through cloud. - Fits the pram you already own: Universal stretchy straps mean it is compatible with Silver Cross, Bugaboo, Joie, iCandy, Oyster, Nuna, Egg, Cybex, Ickle Bubba and other single-width prams. - Trusted by over 500,000 families since 2010: Invented by a British mum, winner of over 80 awards, one-year warranty you can extend to five for free. Also deters strangers leaning in for a peek. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0039NQ3TW | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,189 in Baby Products (See Top 100 in Baby Products) 2 in Pushchair Parasols & Sun Covers | | Brand Name | SnoozeShade | | Closure Type | Straps | | Colour | Black with lime green trim | | Compatibility Options | Single Trolleys, Double Trolleys, Cross Strollers | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (5,178) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 06922946001221 | | Item Dimensions | 6.6 x 18.5 x 21.7 centimetres | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 21.7L x 6.6W x 18.5H centimetres | | Item Highlight | Green trim. I had my little girl end of April and there has been a heatwave since she’s been born! Getting out the house is a must for me postpartum but I was so worried about the sun, when I found the Snoozshade I bought it instantly and I have been using it all of summer, I add a fan and with them both no sun gets in, it keeps cool, I use it on my Silver cross cove, it’s easy to use, easy to store and gives you complete reassurance! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps baby/child covered and cool *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 27 June 2026* Such an amazing item! Fits my pram perfectly. Keeps the sun completely out and unlike the pram parasols I don't have to keep adjusting everytime I turn a corner. Kept my newborn lovely and cool and love the zip so you can keep taking a peek to check on your baby ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute must! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 September 2026* We bought our SnoozeShade when our little one was a newborn, during the UK heatwaves, and it gave us such peace of mind when we were out and about. There were so many occasions where shade was limited, and knowing he was sheltered from the sun and UV rays made getting out and about feel much less stressful. It was also brilliant for naps on the go, as it creates a lovely dark, peaceful environment, so our baby could sleep comfortably without being disturbed by bright sunlight or everything going on around him. We’ve loved it so much that we’ve now ordered the next size up for his buggy to take on holiday with us. We’re looking forward to using it not only for sun protection but also to help extend his naps while we’re away — giving him a peaceful, dark space to sleep while we can still enjoy being out and about.I also have to mention the amazing customer service. Cara was super helpful when helping me with my order, and it was so easy to get in touch. The WhatsApp number provided on the website makes contacting the team incredibly convenient, and the response time was really quick. It made the whole ordering process feel really personal and reassuring.Honestly, this is one of those baby products we wouldn’t want to be without. Highly recommend both company and product! ## Frequently Bought Together - SnoozeShade Original (0-6m) Universal Baby Pram Sun Shade, carrycot and Buggy Sun Shade and Canopy Pram Sun Cover Blocks 99% of UV Pushchair Blackout Blind Helps Baby nap Safety Green Trim - gaiatop Mini Portable Pram Fan, Rechargeable Small Clip on Fan for Stroller, Detachable 3 Speed 360° Rotate Flexible Tripod Handheld Desk Cooling for Car Seat Crib Treadmill Travel Black - SnoozeShade Plus Extra (6m+) - Pram Sun Shade for Prams, Buggies, Travel Strollers & Pushchairs, Blocks 99% UV (UPF 50+), More Shade Than a Pram Parasol --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/47905889-snoozeshade-original-pram-sun-shade-and-carrycot-cover-blocks-97](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/47905889-snoozeshade-original-pram-sun-shade-and-carrycot-cover-blocks-97) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
