Review: Padded seat for kitchen. - I bought this chair as I cannot stand for any length of time, due to disability. It is very useful to be able to sit and prepare vegetables etc. It's a bit stiff to fold out and fold up , but a quick spray of WD 40 sorted that out. The seat is padded, which is needed especially if you have a boney bottom . It does fold flat which is useful for storing. The quality is good and the chair is very sturdy. I think it's very good value for money. It's just what I needed. I have recommended it to a friend, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a kitchen seat.

The seat padding is woefully inadequate and may as well not be there. But I overcame that by using a foam cushion. I could have returned it but because it folds away nicely I'm keeping it. I bought this as a guitar stool and I've found it perfect for my needs. It's light and folds down neatly. making it ideal for taking to sessions and gigs. The height is just right for me to play comfortably (I'm 6' 1") and the seat's padding is fine to perch on for a couple of hours. The frame is strong enough to withstand the inevitable knocks it takes on the road, so I'm totally satisfied with my purchase.
