I bought mine for my 'Sony Cyber-shot RX-100 IV' that I bought from John Lewis in June last year, and its well worth the money, it makes the camera so much easier to handle and it has stayed stuck to the camera - I was very dubious about buying the flimsy looking tiny bit of plastic, but was very pleasantly surprised. You do have to be careful fitting it, as it is a one shot at putting it in the right place first time. Once stuck it's staying stuck. I would recommend you get one though. I don't know how old you are, but I'm finding the smaller these cameras get the harder they are to hold steady, especially in video mode. I fitted the SG-R1 grip, and it would not fit into the official Sony leather case.I used an old leather case I had for a Canon Powershot S80, and it fitted perfectly.As, I think the S80 is now obsolete, I've noticed that Wex Photographic are selling off the cases (The Cannon soft leather case DCC100)for £4.00I now have the Sony DSC Rx100Mk3 with the AG-R2 grip. For the price of the camera though, Sony should include one of these in the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must buy accessory for RX100 - But really needs to be included with the camera *by M***S on 22 July 2017* Overall this product is an absolute must have for the RX100 (mine is a M3). It makes the camera much more comfortable to hold and far easier to grip. The difference between holding the camera with and without the grip is day and night. The grip is easy to apply and there are simple and straightforward instructions included in the box - I was worried I'd mess up the alignment but there's really nothing to it. Simply remove the sticker on the back, line up the grip with the left edge of the camera and apply - took me around 30 seconds from start to finish. The instructions then suggest to leave the camera alone for 24 hours to let the adhesive take hold. I've now been using the camera with the grip on for a couple of weeks now and it feels incredibly solid and unlikely to detach. The feel of the grip is excellent. It has a soft rubbery, leather feel and the embossing of the Sony logo is subtle and elegant. Overall it looks like the grip is part of the camera and not an aftermarket accessory, which brings me to my final point: Why on earth is this not built in??...or at the very least included in the box with the camera. To have to pay £12 to compensate for a basic design flaw on what is already a very expensive camera feels like Sony are being incredibly cheap and distasteful here. Sony - pull your finger out and start including this accessory in the box. In the mean time, for all present RX100 owners - you won't regret purchasing this item.
