Would recommend for a home gym. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mat but only lasted 3 months. *by K***R on 14 August 2017* This is a super size mat. It's doesn't slip. I've used it on carpet, wood flooring and decking. It's a good thickness and yes there is a tiny smell at first but it soon wears off. I use it for HiiTand it's been great for that. However, I haven't given it 5 stars because 3 months on, I have actually worn a hole in it from doing HiiT, in particular mountain climbers. It started wearing through at that pressure point about a month in and after a session I would start to find little black bits of rubber on my carpet. I used it yesterday and at the end of my session, I had actually gone through the rubber completely. I do HiiT though 5 times a week so it does get some bashing. If you are using it for less intense exercise or under a machine then it will be brilliant.
