These are chunks of raw food grade cocoa butter so they’re hard. However, you need to melt them over a double boiler. If you do not add oil the cocoa butter will harden again. I added some avocado oil & used a hand mixer to turn into cream, then put in airtight container. Also, consuming this also helps to lower bad cholesterol.
