Review: It’s a great mandolin, highly recommend. - It’s a great mandolin for the money. Have found it easier to use without the hand guard bit (just be careful). Blades are sharp and it feels sturdy. 2mm attachment works perfectly on firmer fruit and veg like apple, onions and potatoes. Would highly recommend.

Reason it is not a 5 is because there is no instruction leaflet, however the supplier is seeking one from the manufacturer. Works brilliantly but you need to be very careful when changing slicers and particularly when washing up - the cutters are very sharp. Family all have cut fingers - (some due to being too macho to use the hand guard!) - it is easy to forget how sharp the cutters are, especially when in a hurry.

It’s a great mandolin for the money. Have found it easier to use without the hand guard bit (just be careful). Blades are sharp and it feels sturdy. 2mm attachment works perfectly on firmer fruit and veg like apple, onions and potatoes. Would highly recommend.
