Review: Awesome - Still loving it. It is lasting much longer than my last Optoma, and no complaints. Well worth the price

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this optoma gt1080hdr projector play 2d movies in 3d?**
A: YES!!!.........you have to be smart enough to look for conversion software, dont listen to everything you read on the comments and do some research for yourself, dont listen to this either, do your own research. NVIDIA vision, AiseeSoft, etc there are a few ways to do this with several different setups.

**Q: Are you able to view this projector in a daylight room, such as a business meeting? Or does it need to be viewed in a dimly lit room?**
A: Honestly. All projectors should be used in a dim lit room. It depends on size of image. You want a 60" or 120". 120" no 60" i think you could get away with it.

A: Dear Optoma Customer,

We measure our projector's brightness in ANSI Lumens, the GT1080HDR is rated at 3800 lumens. If you have any further questions, please contact Optoma technical support at 888-289-6786 Monday - Friday 6 AM - 5 PM PST for further assistance.

**Q: What is the native resolution? Could i mount on ceiling to point down and project for cutting sewing projects.**
A: Dear Optoma Customer,

This is a native 720p projector, meaning 1280x720. If you have any further questions, please contact Optoma technical support at 888-289-6786 Monday - Friday 6 AM - 5 PM PST for further assistance.

Sincerely,
Optoma Support.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent not awesome
*by J***E on September 14, 2023*

Based on the price I think this is worth at least four stars - brightness is fair, picture is decent. After messing with it for an evening or two I've found the adjustments appear to be fairly limited such that I could not get an offset installation to work. Keystone adjustment is vertical only, so the picture gets really horsed-up if you are more than a few degrees off center. Zoom-in and image shift are realistically only good for a notch, or two, before the picture starts getting cropped. Last, the holes to attach a ceiling mount are tiny and within about a 5" diameter - this is very limiting in terms of which "universal" ceiling mounts are compatible.
