## Description

XTC is a high temperature and heat resistant coating formulated specifically to protect metal surfaces operating at temperatures from 500°F (260°C) to 1500°F (812°C). With proper preparation, XTC provides outstanding adhesion, film integrity, weathering, and thermal shock-resistance throughout this entire temperature range, and is guaranteed not to burn off! XTC is ideal for exterior applications because it resists rust when primed with XTC Primer. XTC Primer provides the rust protection.

Review: Good hi temp paint - In the past I usually used POR-15 products for this kind of stuff but I thought I'd give KBS a try. No regrets. It's a bit less expensive than POR-15 and works just as well. It really improved the appearance of my engine. I painted the exhaust and the intake manifold with this. Easy to apply and looks very good IMO.
Review: Great stuff - This stuff works great. I bought it and painted to paint a turbo exhaust housing on a turbo I was rebuilding. The exhaust temp will run at 1100 degrees with short spikes to 1300. This stuff is holding up great so far. It looks nice as well. I just sprayed it on with a LPHV spray gun and it layed on nice. It dries quick too. Overall, it gets 5 stars from me.

A: I used this KBS Coatings 65100 Gray Xtreme Temperature Coating Zinc Silicon Primer, 12 oz (Aerosol)

**Q: I am looking to seal the stained masonry inside the fireplace, we use an electric heater, but is this safe for future use as a woodburning fireplace?**
A: I don't know the answer but recommend calling KBS. They have a very helpful tech support.

**Q: Will this work on tile around a fireplace?**
A: Yes, it has been used for that. Apply thin coats and tile usually requires several coats.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is worth the effort and cost

This is worth the money. I used it on a new exaust system before installtion per instructions. Two New Hampshire extra heavy salt and what ever other corrsive chemicals the DOT adds to dissolve cars and there are a few spots of rust, but I can remedy them with Naval Jelly and repaint. Keep trying NH DOT !
