NT's cartridge-type, 30-degree snap off blade knife has a professional quality ABS holder with smooth rounded edge to protect cutting surfaces from scratching. This snap off utility knife with 30-degree sharper point blade is the tool of choice for window film and vehicle graphic wraps. Auto-lock system is purposely NOT equipped in this model, to allow the blade to retract when necessary to prevent from cutting too deep and accidentally scratching the glass or body of the car. Holding up to 5 of 30-degree refill blades, cartridge type multi blade knife is convenient for jobs that require constant supply of new blades and maximum cutting efficiency. Just remove old blade and a new blade will automatically pop up into position. The ABS holder is very durable and with the inner metal cartridge, extra protection is added against any external pressures put on this cutter. End cap also functions as a blade snapper. **Q: Is this Safe on car windows?**
A: It comes stocked with a carbon steel blade. Make sure you switch it out to a stainless steel blade less likely to scratch the glass if you are doing window tinting. Always snap to a new blade as well to avoid scratching the glass. It is a great tool to work with. Also stores more than one blade for quick change.

**Q: Would this work for cutting 3" fiberglass insulation?**
A: I think that’s a bit heavy duty for this handle. This handle is better for detailed cutting. For what you are doing I would use a heavier duty blade holder.

**Q: I have two of these knives are they are my favorite. Are you able to order two of just the grey blade snappers?**
A: Yes, NT Cutter 30 degree blade replacements are available on Amazon 50 pack.

**Q: Does this come with the blade?**
A: Yes, it comes with 2 full length snap off blades, I ordered additional blades with mine. This is my very favorite knife in my studio, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Excellent craftsmanship Well designed Always happy with NT producsts. Easy to replaceblades, storage for up to 5 blades, each blade has several snap off sections to reach a new sharp surface. The blade size is the 30° 9mm snap off blades, most brands will fit, even with slight differences in where the anchor hole is placed on the back end. Fixed click up ratchet notches mean Each new blade exposed after snaping off will protrude a different length on the set ratchet notch, as the snap off length amd the space between ratchets are not exact, but this will only bother the most anal retentive people, the work around if you absolutely need a set depth of scoring is to do some mind wrenching maths or just only use the blades un snapped or calculate how many snaps are needed to cycle to your preferred depth and pre snap your blades there. Its excessivly trivial and in no way effects the regular use.
