I bought for male friend who does lots of outdoor work. He loves the material and ability to wet when need but not drip down his face. Loved the colors too.

It’s a nice headband and I like that it has the rubber on the underside to hold my hair and better stay in place. That being said I have two problems with it. 1. If you are a heavy sweater like me, this isn’t for outdoor 100+ degree work. It isn’t wide enough or absorbent enough to really catch much of your sweat (and so I never felt it doing much cooling). 2. As shown in the picture, the literature and tag say it is machine washable and you can dry on low, but the sewn in tag says not to machine wash it or dry it…???I will post an update after I use it more over the next week and try washing it.

It was thin enough to put under my hair and still wear as a sweatband. In 100+ heat it kept the sweat from dripping in my eyes.

I like the convenience of being able to carry such a useful product in my pocket wherever I go, unseen until I need it. It seems to be durable, well constructed and easy to use. Helps me stay cool whether I’m at church, or mowing the lawn. Picture that!

Lightweight. Did actually provide a semblance of nice cooling-especially when a breeze hit the headband and it was damp. Definitely worth the money

Before I start, I want to add that I have experience with two different “chill towels. I am familiar with the concept and how they work.This headband BARELY cools, and only when it’s been freshly wetted.It quickly loses any “cooling” effect.It does keep the sweat out of my eyes while I’m working outdoors (cutting firewood, etc., sucks when your safety glasses have sweat running down the lenses). This is the only reason I gave it any stars.If you want a sweatband; there are lots that will keep sweat out of your eyes.If you want one that actually cools; this is not the one.It wasn’t worth returning for a refund; but I wouldn’t buy it again.

This is significantly more lightweight than other cooling towels. It fits like a regular headband so It doesn't look awkward and it doesn't drip water on your shirt. It does stay cool for a while but in one night at the concession stand I had to rewet it several times. I do use it every time though and I bought a second one.
