As for the claims regarding how long coffee stays hot for - well, I fill it up about half full (hence comment on size of the thing) & coffee will stay decently hot for an hour and no more. It’s enough for me, but if these advertising claims are based on a full pot just being left to see how long it stays hot for, well that’s not quite accurate is it, as we tend to drink our coffee so the amount in the press gets less & heat will dissipate faster! But at least it really is a vacuum press - so many others claim to be but are not.
