NO! This is plastic and very flimsy, at best. The cover does not stay on and when picked up, it always comes off. **Q: What is the volumn? How many quarts?** A: Holds 4 cups. (1 quart) **Q: What food is good for to cook in that pot** A: Itโ€™s a microwave bowl with a lid. Cook normal food you would typically cook in the microwave. Soup, rice, leftovers ect. **Q: This came with no instructions. How do you use it** A: They are good for cooking vegetables, cooking soups, warming up food in the microwave. For frozen veggies, about 4 minutes on high (2 cups of veggies) seems to do it. If you're cooking a can of chili, 90 seconds, stir, and try 60 seconds first to see if the food is warm enough. And when you steam frozen veggies you add minimal water to the pot. So basically if you follow that, this item will work just fine. It is flimsier and not as good or sturdy as a Pampered Chef micro cooker but no one should expect that it would be for its price when they see how much a pampered chef one is.
