Review: Super expensive but sounds great! - Super expensive but sounds great! I don't regret buying it at all. But it is way more expensive than it needs to be. Battery life lasts about 3 hours when cranked up all the way. The best thing is that you can continue to use it while it is plugged in. It is waterproof and does float. Anytime it gets dirty i just rinse it off. But beware it will continue to drain water out of it for hours so don't set it on a surface that it will ruin after you get it wet. Sound quality is very good. Bass is strong and it is very loud. If I am in the garage with the doors closed you can here it in the street so don't under estimate it. Also you have to use the app to set it up which was kinda of dumb but it does allow you to tweak the sound which was a very nice feature. you will notice though it lags a bit when connecting when you turn it on and when it disconnects when you shut it off which is no big deal but definitely can be improved upon. Over all for a portable speaker system there isn't really anything out there that can touch this for sound quality, durability or how loud it can go while still have clarity. This is probably why JBL charges a serious premium for it. You will also notice it does have some weight to it so it is not something you would want to carry around all day. I also notice it does improve the sound a bit if you leave it plugged in while using it is you are going to listen to it real loud. If you buy it, you wont regret it. I sure don't. I use it very frequently to the dismay of my neighbors

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Boombox 3 beats Sonos Move 2

Great Speaker. Almost as good as a component stereo system. Great sound. The JBL excels outdoors. It just sounds great. I also purchased a Sonos Move 2 and had them at the same time and compared the two. I switched back and forth between them, comparing the same song. The Sonos is going back but it is a nice speaker. Not as balanced. Best at low volume levels. In general the Sonos sounds like it has a lot of digital signal processing DSP / EQ. I also didn't want a microphone listening to me all the time like the Sonos. The JBL is large and heavy but I think that is a small price for such good sound. I used Apple lossless CD burns via bluetooth for my comparisons.
