System info: Amd Ryzen 5 3600X, Asus TUF X570 mobo plus wifi, G.skill 32gb 3200mhz ram, WD sn750 1tb boot drive, SK Hynix Gold s31 1tb storage drive, Gigabyte geforce rtx 2070 super gaming oc 3x, Fractal Design Meshify C glass panel case.Got annoyed by the stock cooler that came with my cpu. It did the job, but that's pretty much the only positive thing about its performance. The Wraith Spire cooler always got stuck in this loud annoying feedback loop: Temperature rises past 45C, fan starts going into overdrive; temps fall down, fan slows and allows temp to rise again, thus starting what felt like a never ending cycle.I am pleased with this cooler's performance, noise, and aesthetics. The fan itself can be controlled via pwm, the speeds of which were far more flexible than the Wraith Spire for whatever reason. Idle temps are usually in the low 30s for me, with the fan being virtually noiseless under 50C. Load temps tend to hover just below 70C, occasionally crossing into and staying in the low 70s. The fan gets significantly louder at that point, but not what I would consider inhibitory towards concentration.Aesthetically, it's very pretty to look at and adds a nice pizzazz to a pc. Syncs well with my motherboard's native rgb control, cycling through colors to match the rest of the few rgb components I have installed. Only one color can be managed at a time though, at least for this model. I believe the newer addressable rgb version is a few dollars more, which Deepcool may eventually replace this model with.Installation was fairly easy, although there are a few points to watch out for. Contrary to the instructions provided by Asus, the native backplate of my motherboard needed to be removed in order to install the one included with the cooler. Also be careful to place the nuts provided into the appropriate backplate holes, as the "AMD" labelled hole is not, in fact, the same as the "AM4" hole. The brackets which hold the cooler in place also needed slight adjusting to match the hole alignment; you can very clearly slide the positions of the screws to do so. The wires are a bit too long imo, forcing me to hide them under the fan and behind the ram for the sake of good cable management. Obviously, some builds may require the length provided, so ymmv.Luckily, my case provided me access to the backside of my mobo, so installation was fairly straight forward aside from the few hiccups listed above. Can't really say anything about the inline controls provided since my build does not require it. Overall, this product is an excellent cooler with fantastic value at its $35 price point. Would recommend for midrange cpus.I'd add pictures to showcase the installation process, but amazon isn't letting me for whatever reason.

One of the best all in one solutions for CPU cooling, AM4 compatible out of the BOX!
Being a long time fan of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler, I was very excited when I seen this cooler listed for sale, so I picked it up quickly to test out on my AMD Ryzen 7 1800X.Being that not many companies are advertising that they work with AM4, this one includes everything IN THE BOX to mount right to your new AMD Ryzen CPUs and APUs, no additional hardware needed, so you can get right to cooling your chip with this cooler as soon as you open the box, and cool your chip? Yeah.. That's exactly what this CPU cooler does.I was using a ARCTIC Alpine 64 Plus which was keeping my system around 33℃ on idle and I would reach 80℃ degree temperatures under load, of course I rarely run my system under a full load, but did NOT like my CPU reaching those types of temperatures when I did.The packaging was very nice for the cooler, and included EVERYTHING needed to mount this CPU cooler, even included a small tube of thermal compound that I've been using on other CPUs as well, so that was a nice included bonus in the box.I was a bit skeptical when I seen the fan mounting system, but it works fantastic, you put the clip on, push it over fins and it's attached, could not be more simple. The RGB cables were also very nice and easy to hook up, I'm not a huge fan of the controller that is included, but if you have the right case, you could possibly mount it on the outside, but I say stick with Aura Sync for the RGB.The way they included a small notch in the CPU cooler to run the cables for the RGB plate that sits on the very top was very awesome, it's nice and hidden and out of the way from the rest of the unit.My temperatures were amazing once this cooler was installed, I've dropped to a 19℃ on idle temperature and a 54℃ under max load, I've also stressed this for 1 hour under OCCT and the hottest temperature I've seen was 63℃.I will have to say that DEEPCOOL has a winner here on their hands and I am going to be looking at their cooling options from now on based off the performance of this single item! Thanks for making a quality product that also looks good, and for those who hate RGB, you can SHUT the lights off!

Wow! This thing rocks!
the pictures don't even do it justice, it looks 10x better than the pictures, trust me, This thing will turn heads and add serious aesthetics to your rig that you didn't even think was possible. Gone are the days of ugly bland air CPU coolers, This bad boy is the same price as the Hyper 212 and performs just as good with added RGB! You cant beat that. If you are on the fence on choosing this or the Hyper 212, Get THIS! Its freaking awesome. Keeps my Ryzen 5 3600 at 32C on idle and in games it never exceeds 62C.The mounting system is fairly straightforward and easy to install. Nothing but a simple phillip head screwdriver is needed for assembly. The only downside is that I had to remove the GPU from the PCI slot in order to get the fan clips over the heatsink because there was no clearance between the GPU backplate and the heatsink for my hand to fit to pull the fan clip on, But it wasn't that big a deal.the wiring system is not great but I get that the RGB probably cant be powered by the CPU fan header alone hence why it needs a spare SATA plug from your PSU. Other than that I have no complains at all about the controller. It works, You have to remove your side panel when you wanna change the colors but thats fine.RECOMMENDATIONS: Remove your GPU before installing to make it easier for you to clip on the fan. Also buy some spare paste, the stuff that comes with it was very generic and in a plastic pouch.PROS+ Quet+ RGB looks amazing, very vibrant+ Keeps CPU at same temps as a Hyper 212 EVO+ Installation mounts were very easy to line upCONS- Had to remove GPU to install the fans- Instructions could be more detailed- Included paste is crappy

Jättebra, men hög!!

Excellent Ventirad RGB 👍
The media could not be loaded.

Good value for the money, amazing look
Amazing cooler for the price and includes nice BLINK to it (RGB).I'm using it on Ryzen 7 3700x and I've tried couple of different configurations so bare with me bellow. Unfortunately have pictures only on my current one but I'm happy to answer questions if someone interested. So, I did following options:Opt1: Stock AMD Wraith Prism CoolerOpt2: DeepCool Gammax with one Stock RF120 fanOpt3: DeepCool Gammax with two DeepCool RF120 fansOpt4: DeepCool Gammax with two Arctic P12 (my current setup on the pictures)The noise levels are acceptable if the CPU isn't overclocked in all configurations except the stock AMD cooler. (To noisy for me in continuous gaming or working sessions)At the moment my CPU is overclocked to 4425 Mhz on all cores @1.3625v and max temp under load with AIDA 64 is 79C with fans at 90%If i load my CPU and extremely hot GPU to 100% simultaneously CPU temps are rising to 85C, but this 8s limitations of my case with the GPU (Corsair Carbide 275r & 5700 XT - XFX THICK III Ultra. My idle temp is 42 - 49C @4425 Mhz and 36-39C @3600Mhz.So my conclusion is:Gammax can handle mild overclock with stock fan on acceptable noise levels. If you have extra 120 mm fan you can add one as DeepCool include extra set of mouthing springs/brackets in the box.In my opinion is best looking Budget friendly CPU cooler, regardless if you're using the RGB or not.Hopefully this is helpful to someone! Stay safe!
