US / china** A: I do not know where this knife was manufactured, but I would not think China. It is well made, very sharp and easy to use. I recommend it. **Q: how long is the blade? I am looking for one to chop pico the gallo or guacamole.** A: The max width of the blade is 6 inches. I suppose the size of the bowl you use would determine if the blade would work for. I love it I use a bid bowls to make chopped salad and it works great. **Q: Does chopping in a metal bowl dull the blades?** A: Yes it will take the sharp edge off the blade. The same as using a knife on a hard board. If used on a wood or plastic surface or bowl, the blade will stay sharp for a very long time. **Q: Is the blade beveled on both sides? Or just one like an Ulu?** A: It is beveled on both sides. ## Frequently Bought Together - Checkered Chef Mezzaluna Knife Set with Cutting Board & Cover - Amco 4.9" Mezzaluna with Silicone Handle & Stainless Steel Blade - Dishwasher Safe Versatile Chopping Tool for All Kitchen Needs - Non-Slip Grip, Easy to Use and Comfortable to Hold - DMI Steak Knife, Rocker Knife, Curved Knife, Verti Grip Kitchen and Dinner Steak Knife for Ease of Chopping or Limited Hand Strength, Dishwasher Safe, Stainless Steel Blade --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/46722512-checkered-chef-mezzaluna-knife-set-with-cutting-board-and-cover](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/46722512-checkered-chef-mezzaluna-knife-set-with-cutting-board-and-cover) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
