I purchased a Benro tripod along with a G3 head. But the head was very heavy so I never used it. Then I see this Neewer one on Amazon. It is a fraction of the weight so it is ideal for the hiking that I do. I use it with my Nikon D7200 crop and my D700 fx. Lens wise I take a 70-200 f4 or my 70-300 and it performs and locks down flawlessly.
