There is another brand on Amazon-Squishy deluxe micro bead pillow - that comes with a zippered cover that you can wash. They have good customer service; they replaced a pillow that was leaking beads. I have 3 of these pillows. **Q: Does this pillow have an odor?? Another pillow I was considering the reviews talked about an odor they could not get rid of.** A: Nope! Have been using for a few days since delivery for my head in our recliner to support both my neck and head better. It is excellent and it does not smell! My smell sense is very very good and I did not detect anything smelly with this pillow!! **Q: How thick is this pillow? Would it work as a travel pillow in place of hotel pillows?** A: With no pressure it is approximately 5 inches thick. However because the cover is stretchy, it flattens when you rest your head on it.
