Easy detachment of phone from the holder with a push of a button. Review: Very sticky, may be too sticky.. - Bought to use between two vehicles (truck and can). Dose the job with a very stable hold and rests on the dash. The sucker is sticky which makes it sometimes very hard to remove and as I need to remove often this is a pain. My main issue is now the ratchet mechanism has (after one month) failed and dose not work every time. You have to open and close fully a few times to get it to catch and secure.

A: Very good question. When we have had very hot weather, the phone holder has occasionally fallen off. It is a very good phone holder and I would suggest application of a little Superglue!
